Can Christians support gay marriage for Non-Christians and still stay true to their beliefs at the same time?

Is it possible for Christians to still be against gay marriage in their faith but recognize the benefits it may bring to those outside of their Christian beliefs and support it from a fellow citizen's standpoint at the same time?
