Help in fish keeping?

am new to fish keeping. a week ago i bought a fish bowl with a pair of gold fish, a pair of white and black fish, a pair of sharks. i am following the guidelines given by aquarist promptly. but still my fishes are dying, till now 3 out of 10 fishes have died. not sure what is cause
