Why doesn't glue stick to the inside of the bottle?

And don't tell me that they coat the inside of the bottle in an invisible glue-resistant sheath... because that's simply too plausible. My hypothesis: Glue isn't real. Glue is merely the placebo effect utilized in unlocking our minds adhesive ability. Much like Descartes 'I think therefore I am', Glue works because 'I think it will stick so it does'
