'01 Eclipse 2.4L I4, Coil packs or distributor?

not versed on your car but lots of makers are fitting coil packs on cars these days...it cant really have both...some coil packs are fitted on the side of the engine with ht leads,others are fitted directally on top of the plugs....fire it up in the dark and see if you can see it earthing out/sparking anywhere...if you see a spark then you see the fault,cos if it sparks outside the engine then it will be missing.
