Does Yahoo Answers use real humans or are they just automatons?

If enough report, removal is done by the automatic system. When you appeal however, a real person at Yahoo reads the appeal. Their reply may look automated, but that is just to make it simple for them. They do not have the staff for individual replies for each appeal.
