Defrost then refreeze raw meat?

I have a 4 1/2 pound boneless beef arm roast that I put into the freezer immediately after I bought it. A couple weeks later I took it out and defrosted it, but I was unable to use it at that time, so I put it back in the freezer. Now that I would like to use it, is it ok to let it thaw and cook it?
